Establish initiative, referendum, and recall for Student Council

Hold elected students accountable for regular communication with the population

Make sure regular meeting activities and minutes are published in an accessible way, perhaps in the monthly student newspaper

Make sure student speech interests are fully represented by the Council

Hold clubs receiving Student Council funds accountable for productive and worthwhile activity

Encourage students to be involved academically and in extracurriculars

Establish academic programs recommendations and involve students in planning school policy

Actively engage students and administration in regular, productive dialogue about school policy and operations
